25 Simple Pleasures of Summer

In the past, I shared a list of simple pleasures and had some really interesting feedback.

A reader let me know how much the list helped them because they are unable to be very mobile, but many of my suggestions were things they could still do and enjoy.

So in light of that, I’ve been compiling this list of Simple Pleasures of the Summer

  1. Sitting outside and listening to music (but not making your neighbour also listen to your music, cause we love our neighbours)
  2. Seeing laundry on the line, the smell of laundry off the line
  3. Weeding the garden, digging in the dirt, harvesting anything at all (#mediocregardener)
  4. The smell of everything heating in the sun after a rainstorm
  5. Summer rainstorms
  6. Sitting on the deck while the summer rainstorm is happening
