Christmas Potpourri {DIY Christmas Gift}

I’m catching up on sleep lost to the perils of teething. So rather than write you something fresh and Christmassy I will shamelessly re-share an old post.

This is a recipe to make Christmas Potpourri. It makes a great DIY gift for your neighbours and friends. It is also something we have going on our stovetop the entire month of December.  I never get sick of the smell of cloves, cinnamon and apples.

Recipe:
5 apple slices, dehydrated*
2 orange slices, dehydrated*
1 lemon slice, dehydrated*
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tbsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg (whole is better)
1 tsp allspice

*Slice and dry fruit in a dehydrated or leave in a warm (no more than 200F) oven for a couple hours, turning once

Then place it all in a cute little baggie, box or jar with a tag of instructions.

Here is a free printable for the one I used (open in a word doc and fill in your family’s name).
